The top search for 2011 on Yahoo! was not a person or juicy story, but an electronic technological marvel. The iPhone beat out the reality TV drama, a closely watched high profile defendant, and America's #1 most wanted terrorist.

Publix Recalls Spinach Dip Due To Possible Health Risk

Publix Super Markets is issuing a voluntary recall for spinach dip because it may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes.  The problem was discovered as a result of routine microbial testing conducted by Publix.  The 16 ounce containers of prepackaged spinach dip were sold at Publix retail deli departments with a UPC of 41415-00062 and use by date of OCT 10 C1.

Total of $2,011,991 Raised During Spring Campaign With More Than $102,000 Benefiting Shands Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital

 

Jacksonville, FL (July 26, 2011)—Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® today announced that Publix Super Markets has raised $20 million for children’s hospitals since 1992. Of the total raised in 2011, more than $102,000 has directly benefited Shands Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
