According to the 2011 Florida School Grades Accountability Report released today by the Florida Department of Education, Highlands Middle School drops from being a C school in 2010 to D in 2011.

Highlands Middle School received a C in 2009 and a C in 2008.

Duval County Public Schools remains a “B” district for the fourth year in a row, and 85 percent of Duval County public schools made a satisfactory grade or higher, some schools seeing large improvements.
