Man arrested in St. Johns County for Jacksonville robbery | News

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in an armed robbery that took place Tuesday.

Ronald Dean Mitchell was arrested in St. Johns County for the armed robbery of Navy Federal Credit Union on Airport Center Drive, according to JSO Public Information Officer Melissa Bujeda.

JSO received numerous tips positively identifying Mitchell after his photo was released to the media. A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was then arrested in St. Johns County, Bujeda said.
