City drops plans for Soutel water park | News

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The City of Jacksonville has dropped its plans to build a water park on Soutel Drive.

Monica Landeros with Mayor Brown's office tells First Coast news the City originally thought the project could be funded as part of a bigger project.

But the money they wanted to use is only supposed to go toward the Legends Center, a community center on the Northside.
